What to Expect
We believe God led you here.
We are excited to meet you and welcome you to our worship service. A care ministry team member will greet you at the door and answer any questions you might have. You will get a chance to meet our pastor.
About 65 people attend our church on a regular Sunday morning. Find your spot in the sanctuary where you feel comfortable. Ushers will give you a bulletin and help you find a seat. The worship team will most likely be playing before the service starts.
The worship service has many different parts. Each aspect of the service is an intentional effort to worship Jesus Christ in a reverent, biblical way. You are invited to participate as we confess our faith with the Apostle's Creed and pray using the Lord's Prayer. We have a prayer time where anyone can openly share a prayer request or praise. We will sing an opening and closing hymn, a few worship and praise songs before the sermon. The preacher will preach right from the Bible. Feel free to take notes in the bulletin!
We have a time following the worship service to enjoy coffee and donuts in our fellowship hall.
Kids
We encourage children to participate along with the adults during the worship service. Most Sundays we have a "children's sermon" during our service. During that time the pastor has to come up with a message on the spot based on the object that one of our children put in the "children's mystery sermon box." After this fun time together, each child is given a snack and another child is given the children's mystery sermon box to bring back next week.
But what if my child makes a lot of noise during worship? Hey, we've all been there. In that instance, please feel free to slip back to the Nursery, which is behind the sanctuary. Take a breather with your child or children here with other parents who are in the same boat as you. You will be able to continue to listen to the service though the speakers in the nursery.
